POP’s HR team served the Johnson County Christmas Bureau on Wednesday, December 5th. The Johnson County Christmas Bureau serves almost 12,000 low income neighbors each year.Read more
November 6-30 POP employees participated in the Soldiers’ Angels Community Partner activity where 100+ employees cut, sewed and trimmed 100 stockings for deployed service members and veterans.
The activity was broken into four weeks:
- Week 1 – Volunteers gathered to cut stocking patterns to be sewn by a team of POP sewers.
- Weeks 2 & 3 – Black stocking caps were collected as donations to top the stockings.
- Week 4 – Employees met to trim the stockings with gifts purchased by POP and top with holiday cards and stocking caps.

Giving the Basics is a charitable organization dedicated to assuring that basic human dignity products are available to everyone. They serve over 65 shelters/pantries and 186 schools in 14+ school districts in the Kansas City metropolitan area, making the basics accessible to 220,000 people monthly.Read more
October 18, 2018 members of the POP Cares Board and Executive Leadership Team attended the KVC 2018 Annual Celebration. Donors, volunteers, community partners, employees, clients and foster parents gathered to celebrate the 2018 success of helping local children and families in need. Rachael is an asset to not only the Collections department but to POP as a whole. Her vast knowledge and commitment to her job make her a great teacher and Team Lead. She helps you to learn and understand the reasons behind the billing process and if you’re still unsure she’ll present things in a different way to ensure you understand.

Last month, POP held a school supply drive for KVC Kansas where almost 200 backpack sets were collected and donated to the cause.
This morning, 10 POP volunteers loaded a moving truck with 800 backpacks, hygienic products and care kits which will be shared with agencies in Wyandotte County for distribution to children in foster care, and prepped over 350 backpacks to a loading area for case workers to easily distribute.Read more
July 16th–27th POP held a Back-to-School Drive for KVC Kansas.
KVC Kansas represents one of the strongest and broadest child welfare and behavioral healthcare continuums in the nation. Responsible for the care of all children served by the Kansas Department for Children and Families’ Kansas City Metro and Eastern Regions, which includes 30 counties and more than half of all children in the child welfare system.Read more

Aeby demonstrates our Core Values through her daily work and interaction with co-workers, visitors and vendors. As the Office Coordinator, Aeby must be prepared for anything from handling lost badges to last minute preparations for meetings and activities. She is tasked with ensuring that we are able to function each morning with a continuous supply of coffee, tea and hot chocolate – what would we do without our morning caffeine!?!

May 23, 2018 — Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer.

Sally is a Charge Entry Analyst who works on one of the largest groups in Plus. She is an incredible resource to her fellow co-workers. She is considered by many as, not just a co-worker and mentor, but also an incredible friend. Sally is a true team player; while she has her own daily goals to meet, she never hesitates to stop and help guide others.
She happily answers any questions and has a true talent for teaching. She takes time to explain how to do something and the reasons behind why it is done. Sally is very dependable and willing to work overtime to make sure that end of month goals are met. Her team can count on her to go the extra mile and help wherever she is needed. It all started on April 11th when POP participated in our 2nd annual Harvesters’ Take Your Can to Work Day. POP’s drive continued until April 20th. As a company we collected over $1,245 and over 2,408 pounds of much needed food! This translates to 5,745 meals which Harvesters can now provide!Read more
